Official Opening with Hildegarde Naughton

Minister Naughton was appointed to her current role in November 2025, following a distinguished career in public service. She has previously served as Minister of State attending Cabinet at the Department of Children, Disability and Equality, with responsibility for Disability, as well as Government Chief Whip and Minister of State with responsibility for Special Education and Inclusion.

The official opening will be followed by music and dance from Marie Walsh & Clifden Comhaltas, and True North. Showcasing the richness of our musical heritage, the performance will feature a wonderful selection of music, song and dance by some of Clifden Comhaltas’ talented young performers with some special guests to celebrate the spirit of community and the arts that lies at the heart of Clifden.
