Ghostis

We will gather at The Booley in Fernwood to listen to stories and learn about customs and rituals of hospitality from communities old and new.

Jennie Moran is a visual artist whose work explores hospitality as a creative and connective philosophy. Blending sculpture and food, she founded Luncheonette, an art/hospitality project at National College of Art and Design in 2013. She lectures widely, mentors in organisational hospitality and curates discursive events. Jennie is the author of ‘How to Soften Corners’ and was named Best Emerging Voice at the Irish Food Writing Awards.

Fernwood is a family-run agritourism business rooted in the heart of Connemara with a strong focus on the environment and farming for nature. They are thrilled to welcome Clifden Arts Festival to their recently renovated creative events space, The Booley.
