An international group exhibition focused on contemporary drawing extends the collaboration between artist-run spaces Altán Klamovka, Prague and Interface, Connemara.
The artists: Marija Griniuk (LT), Jiří Kovanda (CZ), Darja Lukjanenko (UA), Jan Pfeiffer (CZ) join Interface artists Anne McAlarney, Christine Prescott, Ian Wieczorek, Lelia Henry, Michael Geddis, Margaret Irwin, Noel Arrigan, and Thomas Brezing. Curator Lenka Sýkorová (CZ).
Drawing provides space where we can slow down. We can also think through drawing, entering a full perception of the here and now. Being an intimate gesture, drawing is perceived by many artists as the most direct medium for expressing experiences with a specific sense of sensitivity to noticing the great or small history that is currently taking place.
