The Amadán in me – Paidraic Breathnac

Páraic Breathnach, the quintessential “Man from the West,” has made his mark in the cultural life of Galway and the Western region. Starting as a dynamic street performer with Macnas and moving onto the stage and screen, Breathnach has been enthralling audiences with his storytelling throughout his life.

“The Amadán in Me,” takes him to the comedy stage in a more relaxed setting. The performance unfolds as a mix of a variety show, parish fundraiser, and comedic event, with Breathnach as the compère, orchestrating audience participation, raffles, spot prizes, quizzes, and sharing hilarious stories of Amadáns and their adventures.
