LUXE Presents: Women of the Waves

LUXE are creating a new body of landscape spectacle work, a journey that celebrates the rich Irish legacy of women and the sea, the fabulous voyages that our ancestors made on the ocean. The work is fiery, processional and illuminated, often with spectacular finales. Drawing from ancient travels and from recent migrations, Women of the Waves combines indigenous and travelled imagery into immersive presentations that bring multiple communities together in collective celebration. Riding the ocean swell as they slowly tour the beaches and islands of the Atlantic coast.

Celebrating the Autumn Equinox.

Parking available at Claddaghduff Church with a short walk down to the event. Dress for the weather and the beach – No hi vis please.
