The Jambusters

Our friends at the Center for Cultural Vibrancy are back again for their 5th year. The US-based cultural nonprofit will be bringing a quartet of superb traditional bluegrass musicians from Virginia and North Carolina. The Jambusters. Together, they deliver an electrifying blend of tradition, improvisation, and musicianship that reflects a lifetime dedicated to America’s acoustic music. Folklorist Jon Lohman will channel his alter ego as a singer and harmonica player and join the musical festivities. Danny Knicely is an award-winning guitarist, fiddler, singer, and songwriter celebrated for his boundless creativity and genre-spanning approach. Jared Pool is widely admired as one of bluegrass’s premier multiinstrumentalists and vocalists. Jared has graced the Clifden Arts Festival stages in the past as a guest guitarist for the incredible festival gospel performance of The Legendary Ingramettes. Bryan McDowell is a fiddler, vocalist, and seducer of stringed instruments, his reputation is solidifying as a musician of great interest on the Nashvillle scene. Together, The Jambusters create an exciting musical conversation rooted in tradition yet alive with fresh ideas, captivating audiences with masterful playing, rich harmonies, and an unmistakable sense of joy.
