John MacKenna and Michael Gorman

John MacKenna is the author of twenty-six books. His latest work, ‘Father, Son and Brother Ghost’, a memoir, was published in 2024. A children’s book, ‘The Last Irish Wolf’, will be published this autumn and his novel The Lock-keeper’s Wife will be published by Lilliput Press in early 2026. He teaches creative writing at Maynooth University and The Hedge School.

Michael Gorman was editor of Writing in the West at the Connacht Tribune, and edited both The Mayo Anthology and 21, An Anthology (UCG). A community playwright with Annex Theatre, he produced Developing Eye Contact. His poetry collections include Up She Flew (Salmon) and Fifty Poems (Artisan House, 2019).
