Join archaeologist Michael Gibbons for a guided walk exploring the stunning landscapes and rich history of Inishbofin.
Settled for over 5,000 years, the island features Bronze Age sites, dramatic sea cliffs and a 17th-century Cromwellian fortress.
From Viking raids to Gaelic lordships and smugglers, Inishbofin has long stood at the
crossroads of Irish history.
The walk is suitable for moderately fit people of all ages. Please bring walking shoes, outdoor gear and a small backpack. A short lunch break will be included.
